This is a very popular replacement for the 1999-2004 Mustang GT. It is the larger case version of the stock alternator and will directly bolt up to application where the intake maniold have not been changed and a supercharger has not been added. This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with NO modifications. 80+ amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft rpm) 160+ amps maximum (6000 alternator shaft rpm) The stock belt can be used on original equipment vehicles
