This is a 3-Wire Regulator Converion Plug specifically for the installation of a Ford 3G Alternator on any vehicle where no Stock Wiring will be re-used. For those who want a "1-Wire Type Hookup" using this plug is the closest possible configuration to a 1-Wire using a Ford 3G Series Alternator. Installation only requires the installer run a Key-on / Key-off Ignition Source to this Harness

Used a 3G130amp alternator with the 1G pulley.Ran a 16GA wire from ignition switch to red-green wire on PA adapter.Installed the PA 4GA wire with mega fuse, installed a 4GA ground wire from alternator body to chasis. Removed original external regulator(not needed since i have an aftermarket gauge cluster, mp products).Taped off red-green wire at original regulator location.On fender starter Solenoid, theres a black-yellow wire and a yellow wire attatched together. Cut off the Yellow wire . I left around 4 inches and taped it off. The yellow wire runs under the radiator support and attatches to the external regulator that was removed. My new alternator charges at 14.4V at idle. Good luck

I think my truck will not try to burn down now.
Great product all parts stores and Ford dealers should know about. Could have used shrink tube over the fragile resistor and harness back to the B+ ring terminal. This would keep everything in better shape. The power on wire should be two feet long or longer for ease of installation.
