This Mustang 2G Alternator Rectifier Plug is made to the original factory specifications from OEM quality materials for a perfect fit and reliable maintenance-free operation. The 3-wire Alternator Rectifier Plug is designed to be direct fit replacement for 1986 to 1993 Ford Mustangs equipped with a 2G Series Alternator. Due to the risk of fire when using this design of rectifier plug it is strongly recommend to use dielectric gel to assure proper electrical connection. Never re-use this plug, if it becomes loose it will further increase the risk of heat and fire.
