This is a very popular replacement where substantial capacity is needed. This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges. Heavy #4 power wire must be used.
70+ amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft rpm)
170+ amps maximum (6000 alternator shaft rpm)
The stock belt can be used on original equipment vehicles
Applications: 2005-2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck models with a 4.2L engine
